A player prop is a bet on one player's statistic rather than on who wins: passing yards, rebounds, strikeouts, shots on goal. The sportsbook posts a number and you take the over or the under. The Prop Lab lists every quoted prop on the slate, not only the few the Empire released, and scores each one against that exact posted number: how often the player cleared it in the last 5, 10 and 20 games, how the opponent has defended that market, and which book is posting the best price. Its rows are evidence, not released picks.

A player prop is a wager on an individual player's statistical total instead of on the result of the game — passing yards, receptions, points, rebounds, strikeouts, shots. A sportsbook posts a number, and you bet that the player finishes over or under it. Because it depends on one person's usage and health, a prop can move sharply on a single injury or lineup note.
It means how often that player finished above the exact number the book is posting today, over their most recent 5, 10 and 20 games — not their average, and not their record against some older number. Scoring form against the live line is the only version of that statistic that answers the question you are actually being asked to bet on.
No. A row is form and matchup evidence for a prop the market is quoting, published so members can see the whole slate instead of only the handful of released selections. Gem picks stay rare on purpose, and the board is the evidence underneath them. A high clearance rate is a reason to look closer, not an instruction to place a bet.
A matchup grade summarises how the opponent has handled this specific market recently — whether they suppress it, allow it, or have not faced it enough for the sample to mean anything. It exists because a player's own form is only half the question: the same number is a different bet against a defence that concedes it and one that does not.
Because a coin flip is not an edge. The colour key deliberately shows fifty per cent as neutral, and only 51% and above begins to shade positive, so a board that is mathematically meaningless does not look encouraging. Prices also charge a margin, which means a true 50% proposition loses money over time.
Because the same prop is not the same bet at different numbers, and the best available price changes which side is worth anything. Showing which book posts the best price makes the cost of taking a worse one visible. It is also an honesty check on the evidence: if an edge only exists at one unusual number, it probably is not an edge.
